The Bridge over the Blood Ford. The river here is said to have run red with the blood of the slain - killed in battle. But was it the Battle of Maes Maen Cymro of 1118, or perhaps the Civil War skirmish of 1646? And what of the poem etched into the road facing wall. Mysteries then.

Ruabon
Built in an age when a village was required to police itself for the most part, the Ruabon Lock-up is rather special.
