The Abersilio Wraith

There are many tales in which ghosts haunt the site of the treasures they hid in life. One such tale relates to Abersilio, near Rhewl, in which a traveller hid a substantial fortune in jewels in a stocking and placed it behind a beam in in the room of the inn she was staying in. However, she died that evening, and her wraith was said to have haunted the very room in which the treasure was hidden, until many years later when the jewels were found, falling from the rotted stocking. The hauntings ended abruptly.
