We've been here before. And it reminds me a little of a number of similar situations in the past. Absentee landlords taking little interest in a property distant from their more salubrious holdings, notably the Old Hospital in Denbigh, but even Valle Crucis after Dissolution.
It seems Kinmel Hall is being allowed to fall into ruin, this 'Welsh Versailles' because its owned by Acer Properties, despite efforts in the past. The example of the Hospital in Denbigh would suggest they'll do nothing until it falls down to rubble...they don't care for the past, just their profit margin, in my opinion.
I'm sure there's an alternative arguement, but it seems a shame to allow this piece of North Walian history to disappear...
